Today am grateful because I woke up and could have a hot shower a choice of breakfast and there was electricity. I couldn’t help but think of my fellow Kenyans to whom this is a luxury.
I haven’t felt this heavy hearted before for my country Kenya to see it sink away in this level of greed and corruption surrounded by grand projects, buildings and an economy that does not serve the mere purpose of the mwananchi.
How silly of us to think we are safe in our current state of pretense that everything is okay and each of us has their turn to eat once we are in power.

It’s a sad state but maybe we had to get here to realize who we are as a people.
We have to set aside our religion, our tribes and our classes to build our nation for a better today and tomorrow for all of us.
